Training of Susenas MSBP and Third Quarter of 2024 Seruti Field Officer

BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency conducted training of field officers for the National Socio-Economic Survey, Socio-Cultural and Education Module (Susenas MSBP) as well as the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) Third Quarter of 2024. The training was carried out offline for 3 days from 4 to 6 September 2024.

The training, which was held at the Griya Persada Convention Hotel and Resort Bandungan, was attended by 30 participants consisting of 20 statistical partners who served as enumerators and 10 BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency employees who served as supervisors. Acting as the National Instructor (Innas) was Puja Sulistyawan, SE, M.Si as a Young Expert Statistician at BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency.

The training was opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si, M.Si. In her direction, Dewi appealed to all participants to be able to follow the training with focus and pay attention to the material presented by the instructor so that they can understand the concept of definition and data collection procedures, considering the importance of the numbers produced from this Susenas data collection.

The 2024 Susenas MSBP data collection aims to see the development of Population Welfare and also to produce Social, Cultural and Education indicators that support the National Development evaluation agenda. Meanwhile, Seruti is intended to obtain Household Economic Statistics data in the form of income values and patterns, consumption expenditures, expenditures other than consumption, investment and household financial transactions.

With the implementation of officer training properly, it is hoped that all officers can understand the data collection procedures as well as the concepts and definitions used in the Susenas MSBP and third quarter of 2024 Seruti field activities so as to produce quality socio-economic data.
