Training of the Field Officer of 2024 SLS Enumeration Area (EA) Updating

Wednesday (19/6) BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency held Training of the Field Officer of 2024 SLS Enumeration Area (EA) Updating. In general, the Updating EA SLS 2024 activity aims to update the administrative areas of Local Environmental Units (SLS) that are experiencing changes. The results of the regional updates will become a reference for BPS in updating the sample frame in BPS survey activities. The list of SLS identification that underwent changes was obtained from the results of the 2024 PODES data collection.

The training was opened directly by the Head of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si, M.Si. In her instructions, Dewi advised the officers to carry out updating in the field according to the SOP and according to the procedures taught by the instructor.

This training was attended by 3 participants consisting of 2 field data collection officers and 1 supervisor. Satoto, S.Si as the First Statistician at BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, as the Regional Instructor delivered detailed material, interspersed with discussions and questions and answers with the participants.

By participating in this training, it is hoped that all officers can carry out their duties well and according to the schedule that has been set in the period June-August 2024, and produce quality data. The results of this updating will be used as a basis for SLS map processing which is the next series of activities.
