Subround I Tiling Survey March 2024

As a data provider agency, one of the tasks of the BPS-Statistics Indonesia (BPS) is to provide data on food crop productivity, namely through the Ubinan Survey method. This survey is carried out when farmers are harvesting by taking direct measurements in the rice fields/moors. The selected tile plot measures 2 ½ m x 2 ½ m. Food crop data collected includes rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts, cassava and sweet potatoes.

The challenge for field officers is that they must always look for updated information on farmers' harvest schedules so they don't miss the harvest schedule.

By carrying out the Ubinan Survey according to procedures, it is hoped that accurate and high-quality food crop productivity data will be obtained.
