Ubinan Survey Subround I January 2023
January 31, 2023 | BPS Activities
One of the tasks of BPS in providing data on the productivity of food crops, one of which is through the Ubinan Survey method. This survey is routinely carried out by BPS. The data collection period is carried out every sub-round (four months). Productivity data collection was carried out at the time the farmers were harvesting by direct measurement in the field (paddy field / moor) on selected tile plots measuring 2 ½ m x 2 ½ m. Food crop data collected includes rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts, cassava, and sweet potatoes.
The aim of the Ubinan Survey is to obtain data on the productivity of food crops which are needed in calculating food crop production figures
In subround I, January 2023 BPS-Statistics of Semarang Regency carried out a tile survey in several sub-district locations, including Susukan District, Kaliwungu District, Bancak District, Tuntang District and Ambarawa District.
One of the challenges of the Ubinan survey is not knowing the word holiday, Ubinan can be carried out at any time on Saturday or Sunday. Because the Ubinan survey depends on when the farmer will harvest. It is hoped that the hard work of officers in the field will produce quality food data.
