Updating National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Census Block February 2024

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) carried out by BPS in February and August is a survey that produces statistical data and indicators related to employment.

The implementation of Sakernas February 2024 begins with the Updating phase of selected Census Blocks in the Semarang Regency area, starting on January 25 and scheduled to be completed on February 8 2024. This stage aims to identify families in the selected Census Blocks and then continue with converting families into households.

From all households living in the updated Census Blocks, sample households will be selected which will be further recorded in mid-February to early March 2024.

Data from the February Sakernas results will be processed to produce employment indicators at the provincial level. By carrying out the February 2024 Sakernas data collection according to procedures, it is hoped that quality employment data will be produced.
