Technical Guidance on Statistics Recommendations and Metadata 2023

Monday-Tuesday, 18-19 December 2023, Technical Guidance on Statistical Recommendations and Metadata was carried out at the Command Center of the Regional Secretariat of Semarang Regency. This activity, which was organized by the Semarang Regency Communication and Tourism Office, was a follow-up to last November. This event aims to increase literacy for Data Guardians, Supporting Data Guardians and Semarang Regency SDI Coordinators.

This event was attended by representatives of the BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency as Statistical Data Supervisor, the Communication and Informatics Service as Data Trustee, the Organization and Governance Section of the Regional Secretariat of Semarang Regency as Supporting Data Trustee, and Bapperida as Regency SDI Coordinator.

The technical material was delivered by a team from BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, namely Saiful Adhi Saputra, S.Sc., M.P., Wiji Nogroho, S.ST., M.Sc., Asfin Iriana, S.ST., and Letsey Hangesti Pawening, S.Tr .Stat., which explains indicator and variable metadata as well as procedures for submitting statistical recommendations.

By increasing understanding of statistical recommendations and metadata, it is hoped that all agencies/OPDs in Semarang Regency can submit statistical recommendations independently, as well as report metadata on sectoral statistical activities that have been carried out.
