Escorting the Complete Enumeration of 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023)

Wednesday (5/7), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Semarang Regency received a visit from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia's Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health (Dirjen PKH) in order to escort the implementation of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023).  This activity aims to obtain quality and mutually acceptable ST2023 data collection results.  Head of Semarang Regency BPS, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si, M.Sc., accompanied by the Head of the ST2023 Team and ST2023 Agro Commander of the Semarang Regency BPS, welcomed the visit.

 Samirono Village, Getasan District, was chosen as the location to be visited by the Director General of PKH, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, who was accompanied by a team from the Central Java Provincial Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Office and a team from the Central Java Provincial BPS.  The Head of Semarang Regency BPS and his staff also accompanied them directly to the field.  The team from BPS Semarang Regency and the PKH Director General of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture were well received by the Head of Samirono Village, Getasan District.

 Furthermore, the Director General of PKH, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia and his team, supervised the implementation of the Complete Enumeration of ST2023 on 5 respondents consisting of 1 respondent for Legal Entity Agricultural Business (UPB) and 4 respondents for Individual Agricultural Business (UTP).  The Director General of PKH, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, in escorting activities in the field, focused more on enumeration of the livestock sub-sector, types of beef cattle and dairy cattle.  The escort process carried out by the PKH Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia went smoothly and was well received by the respondents.

 Apart from conducting field observations, the PKH Director General Team of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture also provided input and evaluated the performance of field officers in carrying out the data collection process.

 In addition to producing quality data that can be shared, this activity is also used as a place to socialize business processes used by BPS, and it is hoped that the PKH Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia will know and understand the data collection procedures carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics directly.
