KSA Survey January 2023

Hello Data Friends,

This time the admin will inform the BPS-Statistics of Semarang Regency activities at the end of January 2023, the name is Rice and Corn Area Sampling Framework (KSA) survey 2023.

The KSA survey is one of the tasks of BPS to obtain data on the harvested area of rice and corn food crops. This KSA survey is also to find out the development of the food crop phases of rice and corn, as well as a basic reference for samples of rice tiles. The KSA BPS survey samples for Semarang Regency were 79 rice segments and 76 corn segments.

So, officers from BPS-Statistics of Semarang Regency have to go to the rice fields or dry fields every month to look for observation points in each segment. Because January 2023 is the rainy season, several paddy fields are also in the land cultivation phase. Thus, this month's KSA survey has extra challenges. But because of the enthusiasm of the officers to provide quality and timely data, whatever the conditions on the ground were resolved properly.
