Accompanying Verification and Validation Desk of Sectoral Statistics Data

The Statistics Building Team of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency conducted a support on the activities of the Verification and Validation Desk of Sectoral Statistics Data of Semarang Regency in 2024, which was held in the Regional Secretariat Meeting Room on March 10 to 11, 2025. This activity was organized by the Department of Communication and Informatics of Semarang Regency as the Data Guardian, in order to present valid and quality Sectoral Statistics Data within Semarang Regency Regional Government.

In the activity attended by 31 regional institution in Semarang Regency as Producers of Sectoral Statistical Data, the accompanying team from BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency consisting of 6 Expert Statisticians conducted a thorough examination of sectoral statistical data that has been produced by each Data Producer, including completeness and consistency of data.

Furthermore, the data will be evaluated based on the results of the desk, then will be presented to the general public through the Semarang Regency Satu Data Portal. With this verification and validation desk, it is expected that sectoral statistical data presented to the data user community will be of increasing quality.
