Getasan, November 24, 2024 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Semarang Regency held a Socialization of Statistics Activities: 2026 Economic Census in three strategic locations, namely Kopeng Market, Getasan Market, and Gunungsari Kopeng Agrotourism. This activity targets market traders and tourists as the main targets, with the hope that they can support the success of the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census.
BPS's Main Expert Statistician, Mr. Hermanto, S.Si., M.M., also attended the event. The welcoming speech was given by Mrs. Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si., M.Si. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of active participation of the community, especially traders and tourists, in making this national statistics program a success.
"This activity is an initial step to introduce the objectives of the 2026 Economic Census to the community, as well as inviting all elements to actively participate for the success of accurate and reliable economic data collection," said Dewi.
This event also involved all BPS Semarang Regency employees, who played an active role in implementing socialization in the field. Not only sharing information, this activity was enlivened by various interesting activities, such as the 2026 Joint SE Gymnastics and interactive games at Agrowisata Gunungsari. This activity aims to strengthen the togetherness of the BPS Semarang Regency family while attracting public attention.
Through this activity, BPS Semarang Regency hopes that the 2026 Economic Census can run successfully with full support from the community, especially economic actors in Semarang Regency.
