Socialization of the Social Statistics Indicator of Semarang Regency

Thursday (5/12) BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency held the Socialization of Social Statistics Indicators in the Dharma Satya room of Setda Semarang Regency. This event was attended by the Assistant of Government and Law of Semarang Regency, Drs. Rudi Susanto, M.M, who represented the Regent of Semarang. In his remarks, Rudi emphasized the importance of accurate data as a basis for designing more targeted development programs.

Head of the BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si, M.Si also conveyed material related to the data on poverty and employment of Semarang Regency in 2024. Dewi compared the data with other areas in Jawa Tengah, providing a clearer picture of the challenges and steps that need to be taken to overcome poverty and unemployment in Semarang Regency.

The event was continued with the delivery of material by the Rector of the University of Darul Ulum Islamic Centre Sudirman (Undaris), Dr. Hono Sejati who delivered material about the role of universities in supporting the alleviation of poverty and unemployment through the Tri Dharma of University, that is education, research, and community service.

This socialization is an important step in preparing more accurate data to support the acceleration of regional development.
