Supervision of Ubinan Padi Activities
October 31, 2024 | BPS Activities
Thursday (31/10) has been carried out one of the important activities in the calculation of rice production in Semarang Regency, namely data collection activities on the average rice production or the so-called Ubinan Padi. The activity of the grayhead aims to get accurate data on agricultural products, which is one of the variables of the calculation of food crop production, especially rice commodities in Semarang Regency.
On this occasion, the Head of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency with the Semarang Regency BPS Ubinan Team conducted field supervision in the village of Kenteng, Susukan District. Some parties were also present to supervise, namely representatives from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the BPS Main Expert Statistician, representatives of the Directorate of Food Plantation Statistics, Horticulture, and Plantation of BPS, and representatives of the Semarang Regency Agricultural Office. The team present makes direct observations in the field, ensuring the data collection method runs according to the operational standards set.
The recording of gray data with what conditions are will provide a complete picture of the Indonesian agricultural sector, especially Semarang Regency, so that it can be used as a basis for determining policies related to agriculture, so that farmers are prosperous and successful as a strong foundation in realizing Indonesian food self-sufficiency.
