Declaration of the Desa Cinta Statistik in Semarang Regency

Tuesday (30/7) the Regent of Semarang, Ngesti Nugraha, SH, MH launched a 100 percent Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) in the Hall of the Regent's Official House. This event was attended by Regional Apparatus Leaders throughout Semarang Regency, Subdistrict Heads throughout Semarang Regency, the Semarang Regency Journalists Communication Forum and Village Heads throughout Semarang Regency.

On this occasion, the charter for the declaration of the Desa Cantik was also signed in all villages in the Semarang Regency area, symbolically signed by the Regent of Semarang, Head of Bapperida, Semarang Regency, Head of the Semarang Regency Diskominfo, Head of the Semarang Regency Dispermasdes, Head of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, Head of Tuntang District, Head of Ungaran Barat District, Head of Kalisidi Village, Head of Sraten Village, and Head of Karangtengah Village.

In his speech, the Regent of Semarang said that the existence of Desa Cantik aims to increase village capacity in identifying data needs and village potential, one of which is in the context of alleviating extreme poverty, dealing with stunting, and uninhabitable houses. This is in line with the Semarang Regency government's efforts to support the implementation of One Data Indonesia as a means of providing integrated planning, implementation, evaluation and control of development.

In the next session of the event, namely a panel discussion, the Head of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si, M.Si expressed her thanks to the Regent of Semarang and his staff for supporting this Beautiful Village activity. The Head of Semarang Regency Bapperida, the Head of Semarang Regency Diskominfo, and the Head of Semarang Regency Dispermasdes who participated in the panel discussion, fully support the Cantik Village activities in Semarang Regency.

It is hoped that the success story of Delik Village, which has achieved achievement as one of the top 10 best beautiful villages at the national level, can be an inspiration for all villages in Semarang Regency, so that the Semarang Regency Government can create an independent Semarang Regency by building villages through Desa Cantik.
