Training for Village Potential Data Collection Officers (PODES) 2024

BPS Semarang Regency held the 2024 Village Potential Data Collection Officer (PODES) Training from 22 to 24 April 2024. In this training, 2 learning methods were used, namely online learning via zoom meetings on the first and second days, as well as offline learning which took place at Metro Park View Hotel Semarang on the third day.

This training was attended by 52 participants consisting of 34 field data collectors, 12 supervisory officers, 4 committee members with 2 Regional Instructors. This training was held to equip officers with an understanding of concepts, definitions, data collection methodology and several other things which will later be applied in conducting data collection in the field.

The 2024 PODES data collection is data collection that produces important indicators of Village Development, namely the Village Index and Geographic Difficulty Index (IKG). Support and active participation from local governments, both at the village/sub-district, sub-district and district/city levels, is very necessary in the 2024 Podes data collection process. This participation will make the 2024 Podes data more valid and useful for development.
