Evaluation of Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) 2024

Wednesday (22/5) BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency held an Evaluation of Field Implementation of Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) 2024 in the BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency Hall. This activity was attended by all of field officers involved in Podes 2024 activities.

The event was opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si., M.Si. In her direction, Dewi said that Podes data is very important as a benchmark for calculating village development and progress indicators. Therefore, all officers must obtain data according to the actual situation regarding the villages in their respective areas of duty through various information sources.

The evaluation material was delivered by Puja Sulistyawan, SE, M.Si as a Young Statistician at BPS Semarang Regency, followed by the Head of the 2024 Podes Team, Bayu Arto, SE.

The evaluation consists of presenting the interim results of the 2024 Podes data collection, as well as observing the comparability of the 2024 Podes data entries with the 2021 Podes data. Apart from that, the results of the 2024 Podes data collection anomalies are also presented.

By carrying out these evaluation activities, it is hoped that the data from the 2024 Podes data collection will be of higher quality and can be used for better development purposes, especially for village areas.
