Development of Sectoral Statistics and Focus Group Discussions for Semarang Regency in Figures 2024

On Tuesday, 6^th February 2024, BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency carried out Sectoral Statistics Development and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Preparing Publications Semarang Regency in Figures 2024 by inviting 42 data source agencies/agencies at The Wujil Resort and Convention Hotel.

In her speech, the Head of Statistics of Semarang Regency, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si., M.Si conveyed the importance of sectoral statistics and the preparation of regional publications in these figures. The event was opened by the Regional Secretary of Semarang Regency, Drs. Djarot Suprijoto, MM.

Discussions on published data were carried out in groups guided by a BPS employee in each group so that the discussions took place more focused and efficient.

Sectoral Statistics Development was delivered by Lin Purwati S.ST, M.Agb, Intermediate Expert Statistics of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency. This sectoral statistics development activity is an effort to strengthen the role of sectoral statistics within the framework of a comprehensive national statistics system.

Through holding this FGD, it is hoped that the data presented in the Semarang Regency in Figures publication will be of higher quality, accurate and complete.
