Release of Poverty Data 2023

Thursday (19/10), Head of BPS-Statistics of Semarang Regency, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si, M.Si and his team submitted poverty data for Semarang Regency for 2023 to the Regent of Semarang, H. Ngesti Nugroho, SH, MH.

This poverty data is the result of data collection from the Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is carried out twice a year, namely March and September.

During the post-pandemic period, the percentage and number of poor people in Semarang Regency tended to decrease. This is a sign that there has been an improvement in the level of population welfare after the Covid-19 pandemic was resolved.

It is hoped that improving social welfare conditions will be able to encourage economic improvements in all fields.
