Seminar Portrait of the Role of Industrial Sector in the Semarang Regency Economy

Tuesday (26/9) BPS-Statistics of Semarang Regency held a Seminar Portrait of the Role of Industrial Sector in the Semarang Regency Economy at the Griya Persada Convention Hotel and Resort Bandungan, which was attended by OPD and company representatives throughout Semarang Regency.

The event began with a welcome speech by the Head of BPS-Statistics of Semarang Regency, Dewi Trirahayuni, S.Si, M.Si, who conveyed information regarding the portrait of the Industrial sector in Semarang Regency.

The Regent of Semarang, H. Ngesti Nugraha, SH, MH had the opportunity to be present to give a speech and officially open the event, fully supporting the data collection activities for Large and Medium Industries in Semarang Regency carried out by BPS-Statistics of Semarang Regency and reminding business actors to be more responsive in the survey.

The next step of events was a discussion session led by moderator Puja Sulistyawan, SE, M.Si with 2 speakers, namely Tri Karjono, S.Pi as Intermediate Statistician for BPS-Statistics of Jawa Tengah Province and DR. AGR. Deden Dinar Iskandar, SE, MA as Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University. Both conveyed the importance of industrial data for government development policies.

By this activity, it is hoped that industrial players in Semarang Regency will be more responsive in providing quality data.
