Updating of Sakernas August 2023

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) which produces employment-related data is conducted by BPS every February and August. The August 2023 Sakernas data collection in Semarang Regency begins with the household updating stage from 9 to 16 August 2023.

As many as 52 Sakernas field officers in Semarang Regency consisting of 36 enumerators and 16 supervisors were trained at the beginning of last August. They will update the 72 selected Census Blocks spread across the Semarang Regency area.

In carrying out their duties in the field, all field officers, both enumerators and supervisors, have a high commitment to carry out updates according to procedures and complete them according to the specified schedule.

From the results of this update, a sample of households will be selected in each Census Block which will provide further data on employment in mid-August 2023.
