Semarang Regency Rice Harvest and Production Area 2023-2024

One of the vital sectors in the world is the agricultural sector. This sector has a very important contribution to achieving the second goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, namely eliminating hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition and encouraging sustainable agricultural cultivation. The role of the agricultural sector in the economy in Indonesia Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (2023), the agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors contributed to the economy in Central Java Province by 13.23 percent and by 10.45 percent in Semarang Regency, while rice production in 2023 in Semarang Regency increased by 3.94 % compared to 2022. Meanwhile, rice production for the provisional figures for 2024 increased by 8.02% compared to the fixed figure for rice production in 2023
