Abstract

In August 2023, the workforce will be 21.07 million people, an increase of 1.59 million compared to August 2022. With the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) increasing by 0.88 percentage points, to 71.72 percent.
The open unemployment rate (TPT) in August 2023 was 5.13 percent, down 0.44 percentage points compared to August 2022.
The percentage of underemployed workers rose by 1.01 percentage points to 6.40 percent, while the percentage of part-time workers fell by 0.09 percentage points to 23.11 percent compared to August 2022
