Abstract

  • In March 2023, the level of inequality in Central Java's population as measured by the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.369. This figure is up 0.003 points when compared to the September 2022 Gini Ratio of 0.366. "
  • Based on the World Bank's inequality measure, the distribution of expenditure in the bottom 40 percent group was recorded at 18.74 percent in the low inequality level category.
  • In March 2023 the Gini Ratio in urban areas was recorded at 0.399. An increase of 0.392 when compared to September 2022. The Gini Ratio in rural areas was recorded at 0.318, down 0.326 when compared to September 2022 "
