Visit of the Principal Secretary of BPS Plt

Thursday (18/7) Plt of Principal Secretary (Sestama) of Statistics Indonesia, Dr. Eng. Imam Machdi, M.T. made a working visit to BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency, which was enthusiastically welcomed by all BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency employees.

During his visit, he had the opportunity to directly observe the data processing process of the results of the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP). Field data collection for this survey was completed in June 2024, while the data processing stage which consists of receiving, editing, coding and data entry processes is currently is underway and is targeted for completion by the end of August 2024.

Apart from that, the Plt of Principal Secretary accompanied by the Head of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency inspected the work space within the BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency environment, starting from the Integrated Statistical Services (PST) room, followed by the employee work room which was named after the BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency motto, namely APIK (Amanah, Produktif, Inovatif, and Konsisten).

The series of visits ended with a friendly discussion agenda with all employees in the hall of BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency. This opportunity to have a two-way conversation with the leadership of the BPS-Statistics Indonesia sparked the enthusiasm of all BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency employees to improve their performance to be better, to make BPS-Statistics Semarang Regency work unit achieve the WBBM (Wilayah Birokrasi Bersih dan Melayani) title.
